I used Phantasm, terra arrows, double skybridge across the world (single bridge should be enough), keep boss at the edge of your screen, fly up but don't too high, just about moonlord's height then fly down until you hit the bridge then drop down but don't go too low, again just about moonlord's height low, then fly up repeat, fly up and down like this made me auto dodge almost all projectiles bullshit he threw at me, also need to manual dodge some of them and timing eye's laser in your mind prepare for it, rod of discord is very helpful to get away if moonlord gets too close to you or you fucked up laser dodge, use homing weapon so you can focus on dodging, as I said I used phantasm and phantasm did 0 damage offscreen so I have to keep moonlord on the edge of my screen instead. I also have Ammo Saving Box and Enchanting Table. Potions: Triumph, Regeneration, Ironskin, Swiftness, Thorns, Wrath, Lifeforce, Endurance, Heartreach, and Cooked Fish of course. Hydrothermic Armor (Ranged helmet of course) True Ark of the Ancients (I'm not really using it in boss fights its just so I have a sword) I've been playing Ranger because, as I mentioned, I suck at this game. I think it's because there's so much going on in the fight it's hard for me to learn its moves. I've been playing Calamity also on Softcore/Classic, and I've made it up to the Moon Lord, but this is a boss I've never been able to solo in the base game, and I'm having trouble with it here as well. I have over 1000 hours in the base game and I've only beaten Moon Lord on Softcore Classic on a world I played with a friend.
